The farm holds about 30 icelandic horses, thousands of chickens for food production, bees, rabbits, sheeps, cats and one dog.
We offer riding school one time a week during the school year with both trips in the forest and lessons on our oval track. In the weekends and in holidays you can order guided trips for 1-3 hours. The weight limit for riding is 95 kg or 210 lbs. We need at least 2 riders to start a trip, and the age limit for un-experienced riders is 10-12 years old.
We also have horses and clothes for sale, and we rent out stables for private Icelandic horses, and the riding hall for riders located in the area. One time a week, we offer therapeutic riding lessons for people with disabilities.

To reach us, you must follow Jærveien from Sandnes to Ganddal. Turn to the left at the roundabout by the foodstore Rema 1000, and follow Kvernelandsveien (RV 505) approximately for 2 km. Then you turn to the left with the sign marked SAMFUNNSSIKKERHETSSENTER, BRANN OG REDNING, SIVILFORSVARET, and follow this road for about 150 m around a natural turn to the left. Turn left onto the first road at our sign marked TRYGGVI ISLANDSHESTGÅRD. Parking at right handside outside the riding hall
